Nigel Hammond, director
Nigel is justifiably proud of Epic. Under his helm, it has been transformed from a mini-marvel into a smoothly professional, rapidly-growing business.
This is something which Nigel has managed from its inception five years ago.
A man of experience as well as achievement, Nigel has a zillion miles of globetrotting under his belt.
He has also attained what is surely many a Bristolian’s dream - gaining a Bristol docks postcode - by becoming the hugely proud owner of a gorgeous houseboat.
Get in touch with him to find out more about his passion for satisfying Epic customers.
Cheryl, events manager
Planning an event? Want it to go with spectacular swing? You’ll want Cheryl to be involved.
Our super-organised events manager brings Epic’s promotional stand to stores, shows, sales…she’ll send us anywhere (particularly in the rain).
Cheryl is friends with everyone, from her pet fish to her dog – and if we reveal that she’s mad keen on the great, pneumatic, singing wonder known as Dolly Parton, you’ll know she’s the woman you need on your speed dial.
Oh, and did we mention that Cheryl is soon to wed our very own Nigel Hammond?
Barney Hammond, office dawg
Truly, there are no words which will do justice to the wondrous Barney – but we’ll try.
Epic’s unique mascot is a blue roan spaniel of indeterminate years…we’re guessing it’s nine, at the last count. Much beloved by all, he harbours an unholy terror of reflective jackets and hot air balloons…which is unfortunate, since our Bristolian pooch hails from a city annually taken over by a giant balloon fiesta…
He is an ardent Bristol City fan - mainly, it must be said, because football is something which doesn’t scare him and he gets to eat lots of lovely, cheese-based snacks at half-time.
Feeling stressed? Paws for thought with Barney.
Ignacio Jimenez, photographer
He’ll drink more cups of tea than your Gran, but Iggy is focused on much more than caffeine when it comes to taking photographs.
Our very own Spanish studio photographer – yes, he does enjoy tapas – excels at taking utterly gorgeous pictures. He adores making people look wonderful and he would really, really love to make you feel supremely welcome here at Epic.
Iggy is available for all of our services.
Charlotte Ferguson, bookings
Stylish Charlotte runs the good ship Epic with enviable ease. In charge of the busy bookings desk, she has been with us for two years and cites nights out with colleagues as her favourite part of working for Epic.
This is one Bristol-born, belly dancing aficionado you’ll want to pick up the phone to right now. Fall for her charms: make that booking.
Simon Withyman, digital imaging
Never found with his slippers on and carrying hot cocoa, Simon uses his giant store of energy to keep our family clients amused.
His role is to make you look utterly stunning and he uses his considerable editing skills to produce amazing effects and highlight the very best in the photographs we take.
The guardian of two beloved cats and lover of all things Italian, Simon is also something of a photographer himself and takes exceedingly good pictures in his spare time.
